Introducing Nioh’s Antagonist [VIDEO]

We wouldn’t like to meet him in an abandoned alley…

Koei Tecmo has published a new video of Nioh, which is just days away from its launch. Unfortunately, it is Japanese, but it still introduces the antagonist of the plot. He’s Edward Kelley, another historic character reimagined.

Kelley was an occultist in the late sixteenth century; he believed to be able to communicate with spirits. That’s not all: as an alchemist, he was also believed to make precious metals (such as gold or silver) out of simple materials.

As the protagonist (who looks a lot like Geralt from The Witcher), William Adams is also based on a real historical character, we can say that Team Ninja, the developer of Nioh, has taken history lessons! In the video, we can see a scene between Adams and the morphing Kelley, in 4K, no less!

Nioh launches on February 7, exclusively on PlayStation 4.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
