Is Deus Ex Going On Another Hiatus?

Adam Jensen might be going on a holiday…

Eurogamer reports that Square Enix will focus more on the Disney-deal and make the developers work on Marvel games instead of continuing the Deus Ex franchise. As there was a break between 2003’s Deus Ex: Invisible War and 2011’s Human Revolution, it doesn’t that big of a surprise. However, last year’s Mankind Divided didn’t close the plot, which brings up the question: what will happen to Adam Jensen?

Eurogamer says that Eidos Montreal (the devs behind Human Revolution and Mankind Divided) work on a new Tomb Raider game (possibly called Shadows of the Tomb Raider), which got leaked last year, as a metro ride had an employee work on a PowerPoint presentation. Square Enix also confirmed that Eidos Montreal is working on The Avengers Project, but they also work on a Guardians of the Galaxy title as well according to Eurogamer. (No, not the Telltale one!)

Adam Jensen is in a tough situation.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
