Perhaps this is the developers’ move to win back the hearts of disappointed players?
With the microtransactions, Overkill Software has managed to piss off several Payday 2 players, and yet, they kept continuously upgrading the gangster shooter, and this time, their game is receiving new content. The Search For Kento, which focuses on 2015’s Yakuza Character Pack’s Jiro and his son, will be available for free to play until April 12, as Payday 2 has a free period this week. Just go to Steam, where you can get the game 75% off for five bucks, and play. The first Payday called Payday: The Heist, is 90% off, for 3.75 dollars (). Overkill wants to strike back and get more players for their game than before, and maybe this move will help them.
Have fun.
