Sony has released a new system software update for the PlayStation 4.
4.55 doesn’t need a lot of free hard drive space, as it’s around roughly 324 megabytes, so don’t worry about your HDD getting full because of it.
Although the official patch notes don’t mention more than „This system software update improves the quality of the system performance,” a few users have reported on Reddit that since the installation of 4.55, a few Wi-Fi issues seem to have disappeared. Why didn’t Sony write that into the patch note then!?
So if you don’t use Ethernet cables to connect your PlayStation 4 (or PS4 Pro) to the internet, install the firmware as soon as possible while having a coffee break.
