Hopefully, you have not forgotten about the new Shenmue!

Yu Suzuki’s planned story did not see its end on SEGA’s Dreamcast, but it can continue on PlayStation 4 and PC, thanks to the massive success in crowdfunding. However, almost two years have passed since, and we’re just eight months away from the planned release date at worst, as Shenmue III was slated for launch by the end of 2017.

Shenmue III, which uses Unreal Engine 4, focuses on the plot in the latest developer diary. „The intrigue, adventure, and drama of the Shenmue story is a hallmark of the series which has ignited our imaginations and burns with anticipation in our hearts. In this month’s update, Yu-san offers a short discourse on plot structurization, thematic touchstones, and story pacing,” the website says.

Shenmue III will be out by the end of this year, unless it gets delayed to 2018, on PlayStation 4 and PC.
