Sony’s latest advertisement, about the Share Play function has just gone live.
Besides highlighting Share Play function, the advertisement focuses on the Share button itself. We’re shown two friends who quickly cycle through most of the Share buttons features, both new and old, before deciding that Share Play would be the most efficient way to get help in their Viking game.
As you must probably heard about, the Share Play allows you to pass your controller to a friend when you need some help, or even have them join your game for some cooperative play.
However, as we’re already learned, publishers are free to disable Share Play (or at least block it in the case of the two Call of Duty) if they see the need to. So the feature itself might not work in all games. In more than ten games the function is blocked already.
