Kratos and his issues with family.
Kratos and his son talk about the importance of truth and strength, but in no time, we switch to the just-turned-dad character hacking his enemies to pieces… with a little less acrobatic approach than before, perhaps due to his age. There’s also a hammer that returns right to the rightful owner a la Thor, making it feel like a boomerang to an extent.
Kratos‘ son also starts to slowly get into killing others, as „there is no place for a boy” in this world, making us wonder whether he will be playable or not. At the end of the trailer, we also see Jörmungandr, a Norse mythology giant snake that seems to offer his help to Kratos, whose beard is still badass.
God of War will be out in early 2018, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
