World Of Warcraft’s Lead Composer Leaves… With A Weird Reason!

Russel Brower leaves Blizzard behind.

Those who have spent hundreds (?) of hours in World of Warcraft may know him as Hordeland. He announced on Facebook that his work at Blizzard is over, as his position is simply being abolished, thanks to „sound de-centralization” within Blizzard. He also stated that if Blizzard wants to work with him, he will still offer his skills and talent as a freelancer composer.

Brower was responsible for the entire soundtrack of World of Warcraft, from the base game until up to the most recent expansion, which means effectively a dozen years of music causing good ambiance behind the gameplay. Best of luck to him, and we can’t wait to hear his upcoming album!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
