Barry Burton will be a part of Resident Evil Revelations 2 – Capcom has officially confirmed the news. Burton is headed for the remote prison island in search of his missing daughter, Moira Burton. He finds a brand new character called Natalia Korda who is in fact a little girl who has a peculiar power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden items. Using this skill alongside Barry’s proven combat abilities, players will need to alternate between the two to survive the mysterious island and find Moira.

Moreover, new details were also released for Revelations 2. Each episode will have a Raid mode content and two full playable scenarios focused on the previously announced Claire and Moira campaign and the newly confirmed Barry and Natalia storyline. Barry and Natalia will need to find clues while try to survive among zombies and they will also face two terrifying brand new enemies: The Rotten and The Revenant. The Rotten have bones that are visible through their bodies and stop at nothing to hunt down the living, and the horrific Revenant are formed from parts of human beings sewn together.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will release as weekly digital episodes at $5.99/£4.99/€5.99 each on the following dates next year:

Episode 1: February 17 PS4/February 18 Xbox One

Episode 2: February 24 PS4/February 25 Xbox One

Episode 3: March 3 PS4/March 4 Xbox One

Episode 4: March 10 PS4/March 11 Xbox One

All four main episodes plus two additional spin-off episodes that focus on telling the side stories of each of the two new Resident Evil characters:  Moira Burton and Natalia Korda and an additional Raid mode character:  Hunk will be included in the $24.99 season pass.

Also a full retail box set will be available March 13 2015 in Europe and will feature all Complete Season content plus additional Raid mode character Albert Wesker, four alternative costumes (one for each of the main characters):  Claire, Moira, Barry and Natalia, and Raid mode “Throwback Stage Pack” featuring four stages from recent Resident Evil titles.

Also following the full details and release schedule for Resident Evil Revelations 2, Capcom has today released the second trailer and a new set of screenshots for the upcoming survival horror game. The trailer focuses on the newly-revealed Barry Burton who is on the search for his daughter Moira, arriving on ominous shores with his fate uncertain. Luckily, Burton is packing plenty of firepower, but with evil watching, it may not be enough to save Moira.
