So, Bayek has the opportunity to get unique items (which are, in several ways, not from his world) in Assassin’s Creed: Origins. To get them, you’ll have to be level 23, and then find the mission called A Gift from the Gods. It’s a short puzzle, which will be followed by a cutscene: Ardyn Izunia from Final Fantasy XV will show up for a bit, only to disappear due to Bahamt. You’ll get a few items after the cutscene: a sword, a shield, and a mount…
…and these are from Square Enix‘ JRPG. Mostly. We don’t understand how the Chocobo has four legs when it is supposed to have just two. Come on, Ubisoft – this flaw somewhat ruins the fun at the end of the mission.
At least we see some collaboration between two big publishers and their franchises.
