Monster Hunter World Gets A Hilarious Commercial! [VIDEO]

Sony knows how it’s done on their home field when it comes to commercials.

Densha Otoko’s (Train Man) star, Takayuki Yamada, was commissioned to participate in the newest commercial (again) created by Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia, and it’s  simply fantastic. Yamada’s colleague asks „Monster Hunter World is super-realistic, isn’t it?” – this question makes Yamada begin to imitate the monsters of the game (Nergigante, Kulu-Ya-Ku, Paolumu, Diablos) until the film crew gets the better of him.

The videos below are wonderful, and even though they are Japanese, there are things that require no language knowledge. These two commercials are from this approach. We should get more of similar advertising in the West, too! The second video is the making of… version.

Monster Hunter World will launch on January 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, followed by the PC port in the autumn.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
