Serious Sam’s Collection Is Heading To Current-Gen Consoles

Unfortunately, we’re not talking about a new instalment, but a batch of re-releases…

Serious Sam Collection was previously released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and this package contained the following games: Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Serious Sam: Double D XXL.

Now, the North American ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) has rated Serious Sam Collection on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which means Croteam‘s games are about to be re-released, which has become one of the easy cash grab methods of this console generation… Serious Sam games could be described as „relaxing titles:” they don’t require brainwork, just some crazy shooting of some weird enemies with a lot of good ambience and humour.

There’s no official announcement yet – the publisher should be Maximum Games, as they were behind the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 publishing duties as well.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
