The PC version of Metro Exodus will use the controversial Denuvo

The anti-piracy technology is one of the most controversial of the moment and will apply to the 4A Games shooter.

An update on the page Steam of Metro: Exodus has allowed us to recently learn that the anticipated video game of 4A Games and Deep Silver will have the protection system Denuvo in its version for PC.
It is a label that has been added recently in the digital platform of Valve, and that specifically says the words: Third-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-Tamper. This means that the anti-piracy mechanics used by the program will be one of the most effective at the moment but also one of the most controversial.

Of course, it is not the first time that we echo a video game that uses this mechanics since it is tremendously popular, but we must also make it clear that many titles have ended up renouncing it. Vampyr eliminated Denuvo shortly after its release and RIME also removed Denuvo after its premiere.

The post-apocalyptic shooter inspired by the literary work of Dmitry Glukhovsky debuts on February 15, 2019, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
