Rami Malek Wins Best Actor for Bohemian Rhapsody

MOVIE NEWS – Oscars 2019 winners, the complete list is here.

Yesterday night was Hollywood’s biggest night since all of the Oscars winners were announced, providing plenty of unexpected twists and a few surprises along the way. The awards ceremony was presented live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on ABC.

The Academy Awards went without a host for the first time in thirty years. Many expected a disastrous telecast, though things mostly went without a hitch as one winner after the next was called forth to the stage for their big moment. The only “hitch” was when actor Rami Malek fell off the stage and hurt himself so a medic had to check on him. Apparently, he wasn’t hurt too much, and his Oscar was intact as well.

And after some backlash with the cutting of four categories from the telecast, those same awards were also televised. While the show went without any host, this year’s Oscars were not as disastrous as some were hoping or feared.
