Sony Follows Nintendo Direct’s And Inside Xbox’ Example!

While the name isn’t perfect (it could have been better…), at least the Japanese company follows the example of its rivals.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on the PlayStation Blog that they start a new broadcasting series called State of Play, which will include new trailers, gameplay footage, or even announcements of upcoming/new PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR games. (Nintendo and Microsoft already have something similar with Nintendo Direct and Inside Xbox, respectively.)

The first broadcast „is just the beginning – State of Play will return throughout the year with more updates and announcements.” The first episode will launch on March 25, at 2 PM Pacific, 5 PM Eastern, and 10 PM in Europe. You can watch the broadcast on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, and, if you know Japanese, you can watch a Japanese broadcast on the Japanese PlayStation Blog as well.

We’ll see what Sony puts together for the first broadcast – if there will be some interesting news and updates, we’ll get back to the program.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
