Mortal Kombat 11 is being discussed in multiple aspects.
Two characters received an introduction video. The first of them is Shao Kahn, who will only be available to those by default by pre-ordering the game – he can do some havoc with his spear and hammer, and his Fatality move seems to defy the rules of physics…
Kitana is the other character, who, at first glance, seems to be a defensive character, which means those who prefer to play in a turtle style (focus on blocking and defense and only attack when there’s an opening…) might appreciate her playstyle. From now on, we will spoil things a bit, so only read further at your own risk.
The complete character roster is now known (aside from the DLC roster, from which only Shang Tsung got confirmed): Kitana, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jax, Noob Saibot, Kotal Kahn, Jacqui Briggs, Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Skarlet, Baraka, Kano, Kabal, D’Vorah, Jade, and Johnny Cage are joined by the newcomers – Geras, Cetrion, and The Kollector. This list was leaked before, but someone is missing. The last character is Frost. She’s the apprentice of Sub-Zero, and the last time she was playable was in 2006 in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.
Mortal Kombat 11 will launch on the Nintendo Switch, but we haven’t seen anything from this port until now. Thankfully, this version also received a trailer. Better late than never…
Mortal Kombat 11 will launch on April 23 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. However, if you want to buy a physical edition of the Switch version in Europe, you will have to wait until May 9. We don’t understand either…
