As the Yakuza themselves are really serious Japanese mafia guys to not fuck with, the video games series’ of drama and action are also a big hit in its homeland of Japan. The prequel Yakuza 0 will be no different, as we can see it in the newest trailer. Everything is there from helicopter crashes to bullet-time knife fights a la Resident Evil series.

Yakuza 0 will be launched on Japanese PS3’s and PS4’s on March 12. Unfortunately there are no other territories are yet planned for launch, but Yakuza 5 is set for worldwide launch later this year.
