Succubus, the erotic, bloody spin-off of Agony, is delayed, but here’s the story trailer

Succubus: we’ll have to wait until October to get our hands on this visceral adventure, which even now may not be as horrific as we’d like.

Poland’s Madmind Studio has just confirmed the news that the release date for Succubus, a spin-off of Agony, has been pushed back slightly. Initially scheduled for release on 21 July, which didn’t happen, DSOGaming reports that the premiere has been postponed until 5 October. A new trailer based on the game’s story has been released to make up for it, giving you a glimpse of how visceral, gory, yet erotic the game is.

The studio says the delay will give the developers extra time to fix bugs and tweak some techniques (seeing as they’ve got a lot of work to do so far, we think the October date is too early – ed.). They added that they would take extra time to introduce some improvements to give players a more satisfying experience.

In case you’re not familiar, Succubus is a first-person over-the-top action game in which you control an evil creature named Vydija, who uses her unique abilities to exact revenge on her enemies in the most brutal and bloody way possible. At the same time, you can customise and evolve your character with 40 different weapons and 20 different powers across the 21 levels that make up the game.

Succubus is a complete change of role from Agony, where you try to remain inconspicuous; here, you take on the part of a bloodthirsty succubus demon in the same universe. While you wait for the premiere, you’d better read our review of Agony; we think you need it…
