Nearly Half A Minute Of Elden Ring Gameplay Leaked [VIDEO]

Twenty-seven seconds of footage from FromSoftware’s next game, Elden Ring has leaked out, recorded from an Xbox console.

Once upon a time (and no longer), there was a YouTube channel called Games Anime and More. This account attracted attention because it published the 27-second recording out of nowhere, which was shared on Twitter by Jeff Grubb, writing for VentureBeat, for example (embedded a few paragraphs below). There’s a lot in the video that we can’t see…

But what we do know is that armoured figure is looking at a glowing tree (right where the official gameplay demo was taking place), jumps over some rocks, and scares off some eagles, which leave some feathers behind in fright. While this sounds nice, it’s not the point: the character can jump in one place.

This was impossible in the Souls games, where you had to run to get your hero off the ground. While this doesn’t mask the agility we saw in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, we can expect more agility than in the Souls/Bloodborne titles. (So maybe the gameplay will be a bit faster…)

According to the leaker, “It’s [a] couple [of] weeks old, but it’s from an Xbox One and not from a new Gen console. Also, the quality downgrades even more due to capturing it using external tools.” So the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S pairing is out of the question. And regarding the quality, you might want to learn how to use the tools. Chances are that Elden Ring was recorded on an Xbox One X. Although the vegetation should be nicer on that too.

Elden Ring will be released on February 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam, as Bandai Namco, the publisher that recently changed its logo, is sticking around for the sake of custom…), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
