A video released by Nintendo shows previously unseen battles and new gameplay footage from Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

Following the success of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Nintendo announced another title in the Musou saga during the Nintendo Direct. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will take on the title’s legacy above to further develop the genre, putting us in a one vs 1000 battle, though not many details have been revealed about the new instalment.

Shez will be the new main character in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

Nintendo has sought to dispel some of the doubts with a new trailer, in which we get to see several essential elements of the adventure. Here, we are introduced to the character who will accompany the characters we already know from the base game: this is Shez (whose name may change in the future), who will fight alongside Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude and other familiar faces. This time, the franchise invites us to take on the Shadow Scourge, who will act as the antagonist of the story.

In addition to the story, the trailer also introduces some of the franchise’s signature mechanics. Actions such as leading a team or making decisions will join the massive battles where you will defeat hundreds of enemies with powerful combos, where you will have the opportunity to fight with the Shez mentioned above or characters that debuted in Three Houses.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is scheduled for release on June 24 for Nintendo Switch, so Nintendo will likely continue to raise expectations for the game in the coming weeks.
