Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition: It Exists, And It’s Also Heading To PC [VIDEO]

Sony has announced the complete edition of Guerrilla Games’ latest title for two platforms via the PlayStation Blog.

As expected, there’s a slight difference between the release date of the PlayStation 5 and PC versions, but not as much as Sony had previously hinted (and they’re about to get a new head of Sony Interactive Entertainment; let’s hope for a more gamer-friendly, past-respecting successor to Jim Ryan… if only they had someone relatively similar to Andrew House!), as the PC port comes about six months after the console release.

The price will be close to full, though, as the PlayStation 5 Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will be $60 (€70). The bundle includes the Burning Shores add-on alongside the base game, but also a digital soundtrack, a digital art book, the Horizon Zero Dawn Vol. 1: The Sunhawk digital comic book, the in-game photo mode comes with a special pose and face painting, and as you progress through the story, you’ll unlock the Carja Behemoth Elite costume and short bow, the Nora Thunder Elite costume and sling, the Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike piece, and a resources pack.

Here’s Sony’s description: “Following the events of Horizon Zero Dawn, machine hunter Aloy races to save the planet’s crumbling biosphere before vicious storms and a mysterious, unstoppable blight ravages the remnants of humanity. Her mission and the sinister secrets it uncovers will pit Aloy against ever-deadlier foes, taking her to the dangerous frontier of the Forbidden West and the treacherous Burning Shores beyond. In this complete collection with Horizon Forbidden West and the downloadable content “Burning Shores,” take on more awe-inspiring machines, meet new tribes, and travel to the treacherous archipelago of Los Angeles!”

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will be released for PlayStation 5 on October 6, while the PC port (produced by Nixxes Software) will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store in early 2024. There is no PlayStation 4 version, as the DLC is only available for PlayStation 5.
