Xbox Game Pass: These New Titles Coming In The Second Half Of October!

City planning, sports management, rock climbing, frog hunting and more are all coming to Xbox Game Pass in October!

Xbox has announced the full line-up of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of October, and the list is very tasty indeed, with a wide range of genres.

The titular newcomer is likely to be Dead Space, the well-received remake of the sci-fi survival horror classic released in January this year. It’s a gloriously crunchy and gritty affair that arrives on Oct 26 for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers as part of the EA Play offer.

Also debuting on Game Pass during this period are some nice-looking new indie games. Releasing on day one, Jusant is a beautiful and meditative rock-climbing adventure from Don’t Nod that could be the chill-out experience of the year. If it isn’t, maybe the cute, quirky and kitten-filled Mineko’s Night Market is.

For PC Game Pass subscribers, Cities: Skylines 2, the sequel to the leading city-building game, is a significant get for day one. Also arriving is sports management with F1 Manager 2023; rhythm action with a battle royale twist in Headbangers: Rhythm Royale; and cult favourite Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery, which may be a new addition for cloud and console Game Pass subscribers.

Here’s the complete list of new arrivals, with dates and platforms:

  • Like a Dragon: Ishin! – available now (cloud, console and PC)
  • F1 Manager 2023 – Oct 19 (cloud, console and PC)
  • Cities: Skylines 2 – Oct 24 (cloud and cloud, on cloud and PC)
  • Dead Space – Oct 26 (cloud, PC and Xbox Series X via EA Play)
  • Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery – Oct 26 (cloud, console; available on PC)
  • Mineko’s Night Market – Oct 26 (cloud, console and PC)
  • Headbangers: Rhythm Royale – Oct 31 (cloud, console and PC)
  • Jusant – Oct 31 (cloud, console and PC)

All in all, October looks to be a very strong month for Xbox Game Pass. We look forward to seeing what they have in store for November…
