MOVIE NEWS – The Spider-Man movie that fans have been asking for for years is reportedly moving forward at Sony. But how long do we have to wait for the movie?

A live-action Spider-Man movie starring Miles Morales is reportedly in development at Sony! This fulfils the fans’ long-desired wish.

The original Spider-Man has appeared several times in live-action projects, but the alternative, Miles Morales, has not yet received such a treatment, although he is equally popular.

There are plans for an MCU sequel starring Holland. But it looks like Spider-Man 4 is coming later than fans would like. However, according to a recent rumour, another project may be in the works with another fan-favorite character version. According to Daniel Richtman, a reliable source, Sony is finally working on a live-action Spider-Man movie centred around the Miles Morales version of the character. This confirmed the May news of producers Amy Pascal and Avi Arad. In it, the duo also revealed that a Spider-Woman project is also planned.

It’s news that fans have been waiting for since the character was introduced in 2011. Interest is growing in the live-action adaptation of Miles Morales, who is playing an increasingly important role in the Marvel Comics universe. Although we have never seen the character in a live-action version, Miles entered the public consciousness through the animated Spider-Verse film series revolving around the hero. The latter was a huge success, and the latest instalment, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, will debut on Netflix for audiences to enjoy at home.

Miles also appeared in Insomniac’s Spider-Man game series, where he got a big role and even made his own standalone part called Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a long time for the live-action Miles Morales movie to begin. Partly because of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, and Beyond the Spider-Verse, the third part of the animated series, is still far from being released. However, the Spider-Verse short recently received an official synopsis and may soon be released to the general public. That said, this might just be what fans need to tide them over while the rest of the Spidey-themed content is in development.
