Pendulo Studios has promised to fix issues with Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh in the coming weeks.
The year 2023 will be remembered as one of the most complex in terms of PC games. But also about the fact that two titles were released whose performance fell short of the expected quality standards. In fact, their studio apologized for them in advance! The team at Pendulo Studios in Spain has been open about this, warning us that Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh will have polishing issues from day one.
The return of the Belgian reporter Hergé, staged by the development team at Pendulo Studios, after not seeing him in an interactive medium for more than a decade, is coming to the market today.
Great anticipation surrounds it, but it comes with a surprising official message. The Madrid-based studio apologized to players on Twitter/X for the performance and build of their new game.
Pendulo Studios is aware of the issues and adds, “We are committed to resolving the situation.” However, Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh may follow in the footsteps of Cities: Skylines 2. According to the Spanish team, it unfortunately arrives on the market with a “substandard” experience.
The development team is one of the oldest teams in the Spanish industry. They clarified that they were facing a massive project for such a small team. Therefore, they tried to fix the problems before the release. However, some still exist. With this in mind, “we won’t stop until we reach our goal,” the announcement concludes.
In addition to the digital edition available for all platforms, including PC, the publisher will also distribute two physical editions of the game. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions from today, November 7. While the PS4 version will arrive on November 24. The Nintendo Switch version will follow a little later, in 2024.
