Jason Bateman And Jude Law Are Back In An Exciting Netflix Production!

MOVIE NEWS – The Jason Bateman-Jude Law drama Black Rabbit is already in production at Netflix. In the limited series, the two actors will play brothers.

 

 

Netflix has greenlit a limited series starring and produced by Jason Bateman and Jude Law.

The two actors will play siblings in the drama Black Rabbit, which is being produced by Zach Baylin (King Richard, Bob Marley: One Love) and Kate Susman. Bateman will also direct the first two episodes.

The series has been in production since October 2022 and is based on an original idea by Baylin and Susman. The show’s logline reads: “When the owner of a New York City hotspot (Law) allows his turbulent brother (Bateman) back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.” Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Ọpẹ́ Dirìsù and Dagmara Dominczyk also star in the film.

Black Rabbit will be Bateman’s first series on Netflix since Ozark ended in 2022. The series is the latest in a comprehensive film and television deal that Bateman and Michael Costigan-led Aggregate Films signed with the streaming service in 2018. Aggregate has also produced the feature films Your Place or Mine and the upcoming film Hit Man, as well as the series Florida Man for Netflix.

Baylin and Susman will serve as showrunners and executive producers for Black Rabbit. (via the Youngblood Pictures banner.) Bateman and Costigan are from Aggregate, and Law and Ben Jackson are from Riff Raff Entertainment. Andrew Hinderaker, Zac Frognowski, Justin Levy and David Bernon are also producers.
