MOVIE NEWS – Now you have to take notes slowly if you want to keep up with the development of the universe of Soundless films. There was, of course, the big surprise of 2018.

Without a Sound was a low-budget chamber drama in which a family was on the run from extraterrestrials who knew their way around noises. It was a huge success. It was a continuation of Lett, which meant even more. Quiet Place: Day One, which introduces the appearance of bloodthirsty aliens, will soon be released in cinemas, and there is even preparation for Soundless 3, again with Emily Blunt in the lead role, i.e. the family story continues .

But let’s not rush ahead, for now, the director of Quiet Place: Day One, Michael Sarnoski, revealed a few things about his film to Entertainment Weekly, including how the prequel story is connected to the second part.

In Soundless 2, Emily Blunt’s character and her children are stranded on an island where they encounter survivors. Among them is a mysterious man played by Djimon Hunsou. The name of the character will not be revealed at that time, but now, in the prequel, we will get to know him more closely, because he is the one who is the link between the second part and the prequel. “This character experiences the very first alien attack in New York and uses what he learns here later,” explains Sarnoski. “We learn a lot about him and the survivors, which is important because they are the ones who figure out how to survive such an apocalyptic attack, not only technically, but also spiritually.”
