After a rumor earlier this week, Microsoft has now officially announced that Mafia: Definitive Edition will be added to the Xbox Game Pass library next month on August 13th.
The game will be available on cloud, console, and PC. This information was first leaked by the renowned insider eXtas1s, who also recently suggested that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy would be coming to Game Pass and revealed the Game Pass release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Mafia: Definitive Edition was originally released on Xbox One in 2020 and is a complete remake of the 2002 game. It follows the story of Tommy Angelo, an ordinary cab driver who is drawn into the perilous world of organized crime, where the rewards are too substantial to ignore.
“Reconstructed from the ground up, Mafia: Definitive Edition offers a faithful reimagining of the original’s highly praised story with greatly improved and expanded visuals and gameplay.”
