With the ban on foreign consoles being lifted last January, many of the big game companies have been rushing to deliver their products to a large, forbidden fruit market. Sony will be beginning packaging their consoles in December, suggesting a full release shortly thereafter.

So long as to Bloomberg, Sony will be vend to package 200,000 consoles / year annually, although actual production amounts may vary somewhat. There’s no confirmed launch date as of yet, but it probably couldn’t come soon enough for the zealous Chinese Sony fans.
