Capcom updated its Japanese site today with a several screenshots showing the PS4 theme players will receive with their pre-order of Biohazard Remaster HD, but sharp-sighted gamers saw something a little more interesting that may indicate another remastered Resident Evil in the works. There appears to be an icon for Resident Evil Zero on the home menu, which fans will remember has never appeared on a Sony platform before.

With Resident Evil Remake set to release in HD next month, it isn’t hard to conceive Capcom giving the same action to Resident Evil Zero, originally released on the Gamcube in 2002. Does this signal a cascade of HD remakes on the horizon for Resident Evil? Will the franchise ever return to its former glory? Only time will tell.
