Top-down shooters? Yeah, there’s still people who develop games in this genre, and it’s actually not a surprise. There’s been many decent games, for example, I’d mention Guevara from SNK.

Since the Gamescom announcement, about one and a half year has gone past, but thankfully, Arrowhead Game Studios has taken their time to make this game even more decent… and soon, we can get to see the end result of their hard work, as Helldivers launches on both PS3, PS4 and PS Vita on March 3.

The group of soldiers protecting Super Earth can be played in multiplayer as well, but it might cause a few curses thrown at each other due to shooting our team mates (whether it be an accident or intentional), because there’s going to be no way to turn friendly fire off! Ouch…?

A good thing: there’ll be Cross-Play!
