Terraria’s sequel is in the works, called Terraria: Underworld

In the genre of sandbox games, two titles have managed to be greatly successful in the past few years, these would be Minecraft and Terraria. While the former one’s developers have been fully acquired by Microsoft, the latter one’s team Re-Logic has an announcement for us.

The sequel called Terraria: Underworld is played in a different universe, where enemies are much more aggressive towards us and so we have to rely on our weapons and spells in order to just live. RPG and strategy – these two will have a big role in the sequel, which while builds upon the original, it still seeems to be much more varied.

So far, the game has been officially announced for PC and Mac, but Re-Logic is strongly thinking about porting the game over to PS4 and Xbox One. They haven’t made a final decision yet. You can see the announcement video here:
