A video game to cure Amblyopia? It exists – enter Dig Rush…

Who says that video games are not useful and are just for spending time – or even worse, just wasting time? You get an F grade, sit down – Ubisoft has just proved you wrong, because they have presented a video game that can be used for medical purposes.

Ubisoft and Amblyotech has cooperated together to create Dig Rush, which can help curing amblyopia, also known as lazy eye. This can decrease the vision of one or in worse cases, both eyes, which might not be able to cooperate together, resulting the loss of spatial vision, which can be harmful for the patient.
It’s a surprisingly positive thing to see something like this – let’s take a look at the game, which – not a surprise! – is easy on the eyes… 🙂

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
