Bethesda started their conference with this game, effectively having a hard in medias res start in conclusion – and it’s not a problem! DOOM will have a new graphical engine, namely the id Tech 6 (remember, RAGE used id Tech 5 earlier), with which they created a really brutal sight. Not just in the terms of graphics, but there’s blood and limbs everywhere! But why are there melee executions now?

A brief clip of the single player campaign. It’s too bad the video quality is not the best, because the game looks much better than that – and the framerate isn’t terrible either…

id Software also thought about the multiplayer too, so we can see a brief taste of that as well. Domination, Clan Arena, Freeze Tag – you can definitely expect these game modes. The UAC Facility is also confirmed to be a playable map, so veterans ahoy..

Creative gamers can create their own maps as well with Snapmap, which should be an alarming bell for rivals. With this, content creation just received a huge push, so the devs can see how there’s always going to be someone, who sits down and creates something new and amazing!

Release date? Next spring, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Go to Hell! Well, we will be able to do so, somewhere halfway into the game…
