Mad Max might eventually be a win-win game for everyone: Avalanche Studios will have refreshed ideas after developing the three Just Cause titles and focusing on this post-apocaliptic vehicular combat, Warner Bros. Interactive might grab another wad of money as publishers, and us players will have a decent choice between Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Mad Max, in case if Snake is not appealing to us (can that even happen actually…?)

In the new trailers, the Strongholds got introduced. Well, defending people from storms and the robbers is a good idea and these can help. Max will have to visit a lot of these to figure out what’s going on. However, Gutgash, Pink Eye and Deep Friah might say or do something about it, let alone the tyrant of the Wasteland, Scrotus!

There are also a few new screenshots, these show off the dust storm (in a desertish Wasteland, it’s obvious to see these happening), some combat, but also, the Magnum Opus is seen. We can’t wait for September 1 – half of the editors will play with Snake, and the other half will prefer Max. In case we might be not that active in early September, it’s because of these two games!
