DriveClub has been barely out for a year, but Evolution Studios’ game has received a significant price drop. This is even more of a price cut for PlayStation Plus subscribers, although they are now finally able to pick up a free, limited edition – their price is almost ridiculously low at the moment…
In case you do not own a PS Plus subscription, you were able to pick the game up for 40 eurors. Now this is chopped by 25%, down to 30 euros. The Season Pass’ price was almost slashed in half: previously, it was 25 euros, and now, it’s just 13. What about the PS Plus pricing? The entire game (base game + all DLCs) was previously 50 euros, now, it”s just 20 (yes, twenty!) – a friendly 60% price drop here. The base game was 25 euros, now it’s just 15.
We can safely say that the PlayStation 4-exclusive DriveClub – which was delayed by a lot, not to mention the PlayStation Plus edition – is pushed by Sony that more players can afford it, and eventually pick it up. This move can help them, they want to push Evolution Studios’ game into the spotlight. We can understand why.
