It’s somewhat weird that Activision have published the launch trailer for Skylanders SuperChargers almost two entire weeks before the game’s release – it’s usually popping up a few days before the street date. The new Skylanders will launch with a new toyline as well, so it might be a little costly for collectors to maximalize the collection… although admittedly, this is what
Activision and Vicarious Visions were trying to go for. You can still use your characters from the previous Skylanders games though. If you use the proper character-vehicle combination, you will get „SuperCharged” in the game, no matter where you are: on the ground, on the water, or in the sky. Online, you can play with up to three players for the victory. As there’s going to be a big amount of possible variations, it is likely that everyone will find their favourite setup – the question will be the budget pretty much.
Skylanders SuperChargers is going to launch in North America and in Europe on September 20 and 25, respectively. The game is a big multiplatform title: it’s going to be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Wii and even on the 3DS. (Meanwhile, Disney is working on Infnity 3.0…)
