Need For Speed: Neons and rubber-band AI – update incoming!

Need For Speed is already out on consoles, and we already showed you a comparison between the two ports too. The game itself isn’t perfect: it lacks neon lights, the rubber-band AI is a problem and these are quite annoying for some players. Ghost Games decided to address these problems in an upcoming patch, which will be available from tomorrow (November 25).

The patch will bring other things as well:

  • More balanced ‘AI Catch Up’ (not detailed on how this will be performed, though)
  • New Wrap Editor features: mirror functionality to put stickers from one side to the other, improved colour picker
  • Block’s Hoonicorn and Morohoshi-San’s Diablo SV becomes available: gifted upon completion of their respective narrative threads
  • Neon lights
  • REP increase from 50 to 60
  • 3x Trophies & Achievements
  • New daily challenges
  • x30 new pre-set wraps
  • General bugs, tweaks and improvements

But there’s still a problem, dear Ghost Games: when will be the always-online requirement be deleted? Think about it: in the future, we would not be able to play the game at all, if the servers will be shot down! Ridiculous!
