Tekken Tunes might not be something that you know about, so allow us to describe this service first. Tekken Tunes showed up in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. It works as a jukebox, allowing the player to listen to the soundtrack of the game, with the possibility to get the previous games’ music in the form of DLCs. You can also import your music if you wish, as long as you have some MP3 files nearby. The obvious question came up, and Katsuhiro Harada, the producer of the Tekken series, answered it on his Twitter. The response isn’t promising, to say the least.
According to Harada, while he still negotiates about it with Sony Computer Entertainment, he doesn’t think it’s going to happen because there are also security issues on the PlayStation 4 which stop it from happening. We can’t even guess about the Xbox One version after this.
We’ll see next year, though, if the Tekken Tunes option returns to Tekken 7, as the Unreal Engine 4-using fighter will launch in 2016.
I continue negotiating with Sony. But It’s not too easy (include security issue). RT@gagaftgays
