Hideo Kojima’s new game will be a new IP?

When Andrew House and Sony announced Hideo Kojima‘s entrance into the realms of Sony, it was a bit surprising, but nevertheless widely applauded. His team – Kojima Productions – is reborn as a Sony team. There are already several guesses out there about his brand new game.

We can clearly say it’s not going to be a Metal Gear game. It’s also not going to be Silent Hills either. That apparently means one thing: a new IP – if Kojima needs Sony’s help in anything, they will gladly offer a helping hand for this PlayStation 4 game. (It will receive a PC port later as well.)

We can only wildly guess about what this new project is going to be. It’s pretty much assured to see the title announced at E3 2016. It looks like Sony has lit its rockets for next year to fight back against Microsoft.

Only one question stands: since when did they plan this? We have seen Hideo meet Mark Cerny (who was the PlayStation 4’s lead architect), plus we have also heard about a Sony comment that said they are always open to expanding the SCE Worldwide line-up. Hm…
