EA Sports has a long way to improving on the current console generation with their mixed martial art UFC games – the first one wasn’t successful, to say the least. It’s not a surprise to see the publisher promise that the sequel is going to hit us hard (maybe even literally). UFC 2 got a new gameplay trailer as well as its release date.
There’s also a pre-order bonus – it wouldn’t be Electronic Arts if there wasn’t. Pre-ordering nets us a day one availability for Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba as playable characters. According to the game’s creative director Brian Hayes, this installment will have the biggest roster in the history of UFC games.
While the trailer looks visually appealing, the gameplay will be decisive whether MMA-fans will play this game in the long run or not. We’re going to see it soon, as the release date isn’t that far: in the US, UFC 2 will be launching on March 15, then on March 17 in the other regions.
It will the same as UFC1… No dif… it’s so sad…
