Mass Effect: Andromeda: say goodbye to the lead writer!

Chris Schlerf quit Bioware to work on Destiny at Bungie! No joke, Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s lead writer did exactly this move the other day. It might be just PR talk on his end, but he believes that Andromeda will blow people away. This doesn’t explain why three key Bioware figures left the company in just two months! Bioware‘s brain drain started in December, when Chris Wynn, senior development director left Bioware behind to become executive producer of H1Z1. In January, David Gaider, an essential figure behind Dragon Age, left after 17 years – he’s working at Beamdog already.

Schlerf joined the Andromeda team in November 2014. Before that, he was the senior writer of Halo 4 at 343 Industries. He didn’t work at Bioware for a long time.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch this holiday season on PS4, Xbox One, and PC… but after these events, we’re questioning the events within Bioware.

Is Bioware slowly dying?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
