Rebellion didn’t wait much longer to officially announce what their next game is going to be. We will get an invitation to World War II, and the location is going to be the Benito Mussolini-led fascist Italy. The year is 1943.

As Karl Fairburne, we have to grab our trusted sniper rifle to get rid of the Italian and Nazi enemies. If you guessed Sniper Elite 4, you are indeed correct – we also suspected this game’s existence previously. We’ll get a Mediterranean setting (reminding us a lot of Just Cause 3), as well as „colossal Nazi megastructures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries”. We’re going to get bigger maps as well as a native 1080p resolution on both current-gen consoles.

Rebellion‘s new game is going to launch later this year on the usual PlayStation 4 / Xbox One / PC triumvirate. However, we have a question: why does Sniper Elite 4‘s logo look familiar to Far Cry 4’s?
