From game to movie to game – Ratchet and Clank are doing a weird roundabout with the two genres. The game’s developers – Insomniac Games – have finished up the game‘s development, and they also showed off the first disc proof to underline that fact. The Blu-rays are being made as we speak so we can put the game on our shelves shortly.
„You know it’s almost Launch Day when the first disc proof arrives.” The game will come with 1080p resolution, 30 frames per second, 10-12 hour long gameplay and a reduced price: Ratchet & Clank will cost 40 bucks instead of 60 in just a few weeks from now. According to Insomniac Games, we can expect a whole new game despite reimagining the first PS2 title. (Which, in turn, was used for the movie‘s plot.)
New weapons (some of them return from the Future games), new planets – more than a simple remake/port to the PS4. The game will hit the shelves on April 12, followed by the movie release on April 29.
