Japan has already received the Attack on Titan game in February on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game’s genre is following the formula of Dynasty Warriors, so slashers can enjoy the musou style to the maximum. Thankfully, Koei Tecmo isn’t leaving the game just in Japan, having just announced a Western release.
Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom will make us wait a bit for the localized release, because the game will launch at the end of August, plus it might be a bit disappointing that the dub will stay in Japanese. The game will get English, German and French subtitles, though. The PlayStation 4 version will be available in retail, but the PS3 and PS Vita owners must download Attack on Titan from the PS Store. Wings of Freedom will also be available on PC and Xbox One, too.
The trailer is… bloody, to say the least. You can also see almost every major character from the first season of the anime. Wings of Freedom‘s success depends on the gameplay and the ambiance.
