Homefront: The Revolution: Apple? No! It’s APEX! [VIDEO]

Let’s get this straight: Deep Silver didn’t edit a sub-par trailer for the new Homefront game, but it’s very worrying what we see in this small video. A seemingly harmless company that does some dirty business behind the scenes. Hm, where have we seen this plotline before…?

APEX, which seems to be a futuristic utopic imitation of Apple, received the humanity’s support by becoming popular with their technology, but not everything is all so dandy. XCOM 2 has had almost the exact background story with Advent (it even had a whole website dedicated to the company before the game’s announcement!), but we could list a few more examples. Gun trade? Nuclear weapons? The US military almost solely relying on APEX‘s (gun)technology that becomes their biggest issue? This is the situation.

Hopefully, Apple won’t do the same thing to us that APEX did in Homefront: The Revolution. This game will be out on May 17 in the US, and May 20 in Europe, respectively, for the usual suspects: PS4, X1, PC.
