Jeff Bridges Announces Kingsman 2 Role with New Poster

MOVIE NEWS – The 20th Century Fox sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle will have one all-star cast. The latest actor who has just confirmed himself, is Academy Award-winning actor Jeff Bridges, who just declared his role through Twitter. Along with this news bit also comes a brand new character poster featuring a glass of scotch fit for a Dude. The poster states the following.

“The only golden circle I want vexing me is the one my glass leaves behind on the table.”

At this time, the actor who played in both The Iron Man and Big Lebowski has not yet exposed which character he will be play in this second episode to the 2015 movie Kingsman: The Secret Service.

The scenario picks up right where the last movie let off. Eggsy, the super-spy and his superintendent Merlin are going to the United States to join forces with their colleagues, the ‘Statesman’. This urgency comes after new villain Poppy blows up Kingsman HQ. The movie will be in theaters June 16, 2017.

Some weeks ago, we heard that pop superstar Elton John was also coming to this comic book adaptation. The pop-star confirmed also this news with his own character poster. The funny one-sheet didn’t reveal Sir Elton John‘s role either, but it did showcase his signature red, white and blue sunglasses with the tagline “Wednesday night’s alright for fighting.” His last role in a movie came in the 1975 musical Tommy.

Taron Egerton will once again be play the role of Eggsy, with Mark Strong reprising his role as Merlin. The head of the team will be the Statesman, played by the still gorgeous Halle Berry and a “swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy” named Jack, played by Pedro Pascal.

Channing Tatum has also play in the sequel, and Colin Firth will live to play Harry Hart yet again despite being dispatched in the first movie.
