The new God of War promises to be significantly different from the previous installments. We have learned another point how it can happen.
Cory Barlog, the game director, has answered a few questions on Twitter. He said that his aim is to make the game as long and as action-packed as possible for Sony Santa Monica. He would also put a lot of enemies on screen at once. We could see them all now, though – we can change the camera angles in the new God of War game.
What about the minigames? We will find none of them in God of War. Instead, Barlog would like to see more localization – his dream is to get an old Norse translation for God of War. (The game is set in that lore!)
God of War will launch in 2017 as a PlayStation 4-exclusive.
@DatBoi33018331 as many as i can convince them to do. Hopefully there will be an old norse translation of the whole game.

@TechnoSphinx nope. I hope to make it as long and action packed as humanly possible.

@BlindGalo @Midnight_503 correct. No more mini games as they were in the previous titles. We are mixing it all up.
