UPDATE – Eighteen Minutes Of The Last Guardian Gameplay [VIDEO]

UPDATE: Sony took The Last Guardian to the Tokyo Game Show, and because of that decision, we can see eighteen minutes of the upcoming game.

Several publications who were able to try the game reported that the controls aren’t as fluid at the moment, but there’s time to fix this issue. Let’s just hope that Sony will do that.

The Last Guardian is out on December 6, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

ORIGINAL: In two weeks, Sony saw two exclusive games get delayed…

At the end of August, we learned that Gran Turismo Sport would not arrive in November, and now The Last Guardian is getting a delay as well. Fortunately, this game won’t come in 2017 like Polyphony Digital’s title, because the new launch day is set to December 6. With this move, the game arrives on the same day as South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and Dead Rising 4 (which isn’t going to be available on PS4 yet).

Quoting the announcement, „A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.”

If this 1.5 month-delay is enough to fix the bugs, we’ll be alright, but if not, Fumito Ueda (ICO, Shadow of the Colossus) might find himself in trouble. Still, the delay sheds a bad light on Sony nevertheless…
