Resident Evil 7’s Demo Gets An Update [VIDEO]

Capcom decided to update a demo. Weird…

First, let’s talk about the new Tokyo Game Show trailer for Resident Evil 7. It features the Baker family from Dulvey, Louisiana. What kind of role will this not-so-friendly family will have in the plot?

About the demo: the Beginning Hour, which launched exclusively on the PlayStation 4, got over three million downloads. Capcom wants to push the figure a bit higher with the update for this demo, which „allows players to explore more of the mysterious, derelict mansion.” You don’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription, either: just grab the demo and have fun. This version is called „Twilight.”

Although Capcom previously said that the characters and the contents of the demo would not represent the final version of the game, the fact that they updated it makes the situation confusing. Why would they go back to work on the demo?

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will launch on January 24 on PlayStation 4 (with PS4 Pro and PlayStation VR support), Xbox One, and PC.

The Digital Deluxe version will contain two DLCs (one goes with four mini stories, possibly similar to the Beginning Hour demo, and the other one expands RE7’s main story) saw its price hike from 80 to 90 dollars because there will be another story episode made for Resident Evil 7. If you already pre-ordered, you get it for free!
