Guerrilla Games‘ and Sony’s decision to delay this game to 2017 might seem to pay off already.
We’re not talking about the PlayStation 4 Pro-support (that’s a different point), but the promise of variety. In the new video, which is called Creating A New World, Horizon Zero Dawn‘s art director, Jan-Bart van Beek talks about how the game’s different areas have different environments and machines. Forests, ancient ruins, deserts, jungles, and snowy mountain peaks will all play a role in the new Guerrilla game.
In the almost 2.5 minutes, some gameplay is also present. It’s worth taking a look while sipping a cup of coffee – after the decade of Killzone games, the developers let their creativity free, and it could be having a positive effect on the result.
The PlayStation 4-exclusive game launches on February 28 and March 1 in North America and Europe, respectively.
